    Planning a project with QUANTUMAT

A few practical points to help you prepare your enquiry.

What types of project can QUANTUMAT support?

We develop solutions to technological challenges in which material properties, functionality or processing are central. The outcome may be a functional material, an engineered component, a device or an advanced process. Our Advanced Materials, Quantum Technologies and Energy Storage departments bring complementary expertise to this work, supported by experimental characterisation and numerical modelling.

    How does a collaboration begin?

For a client project, use the form to describe the technological barrier and the outcome you need. We discuss the application, target performance, available samples or data, and development constraints before agreeing the scope and deliverables. We combine in-house expertise with specialists from our international academic and industrial network as required. We also welcome development partners for technology programmes initiated by QUANTUMAT.

What should I include in my enquiry?

Describe the intended application, the material or device involved, your current development stage, and the main properties or performance requirements. Include relevant constraints such as dimensions, operating conditions or your target schedule, if known. You can attach one PDF, Word document, JPG or PNG file of up to 10 MB using the form above.

Can you help move a project beyond laboratory scale?

Our materials activities include development and fabrication at laboratory and pilot-plant scale. For industrial scale-up, we support process definition, production-line design, equipment specification and integration, and commissioning planning. The appropriate route depends on the material, the application and the intended manufacturing scale.

    How can investors get involved?

Investors interested in technology programmes initiated or co-developed by QUANTUMAT can contact us through the form above. Please indicate your investment focus and the technology area or project of interest. An initial discussion can then address the programme’s development stage, objectives, industrial application and funding needs.
