QUANTUMAT SAS respects your privacy. This policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit our website or contact us.

Who is responsible for your information?

QUANTUMAT SAS

Information we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject and message. Fields marked with an asterisk are required to process your enquiry.

Please do not include sensitive personal information or confidential research or business information in your initial message.

Technical information, such as IP addresses and browser details, may also be processed by our hosting and security services to operate and protect the website.

How we use your information

We use information submitted through the contact form to respond to enquiries and manage related professional correspondence.

Depending on your request, processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling professional enquiries or on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who receives your information?

Information is accessible to authorised QUANTUMAT personnel and service providers involved in operating the website and delivering email, where necessary for those purposes.

The website is hosted by DreamHost. We do not sell personal information.

Our hosting and email provider is DreamHost. Its services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. DreamHost publishes a Customer Data Processing Addendum which includes EU Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant international transfers. For information about the safeguards applicable to your data, please contact us.

How long we keep your information

We retain enquiry correspondence for the time needed to respond to and follow up on your request. Once it is no longer needed for that purpose, it is deleted unless further retention is necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

If an enquiry leads to a contract or another professional relationship, relevant records may be kept for the duration of that relationship and for applicable legal retention periods.

Retention also applies to correspondence held in our mailboxes. Copies in service-provider backups are subject to the applicable backup lifecycle. The contact form does not provide automatic deletion of messages already delivered by email.

Cookies and external services

WordPress may use cookies for administrator sign-in and website operation. Language preferences may be used to provide your chosen website language. WPForms Lite does not use the user-tracking cookies described for its paid form features.

The contact page includes an embedded Google Maps map. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details and may use cookies or similar technologies under its Privacy Policy. Other external links, including LinkedIn, lead to services with their own privacy practices. Some images and partner logos are loaded from external websites; those providers can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details when the images load. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect functions such as administrator sign-in.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing, or data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.

To exercise your rights, contact contact@quantumat.com. We may request information necessary to verify your identity.

You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr/.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or our practices. The current version will be available on this page.
